Gmbh LOCTITE have announced their ongoing support
of TeamLOCTITE as the team branches out into the
National Class of the British F3 International Series
and the VdeV Fr Championship. The team returns to
F3 with a wealth of experience from their 2005 National
Class campaign and, more recently, their success
and bulletproof reliability record in Formula BMW.
Team
LOCTITE recently announced that they will be running
two F3 cars in the British Formula 3 International
Series, National Class alongside their VdeV programme
in Europe. The team has purchased two race winning
cars from Raikkonen-Robertson Racing and are confident
that they will pose a serious threat to the more
established runners. LOCTITE have shown their backing
for this new venture by continuing to offer support
to the team in 2008.
"Having
successfuly competed in the British F3 International
Championship in 2005 with Josh Fisher and American
Nick Jones, we felt that a return to Formula 3 in
2008 would provide us with the opportunity to work
with young drivers who are looking for a high profile,
cost effective, UK and European based Championship."
said Team Owner, Trevor Powell. "Formula 3
has been good to us in the past and we look forward
to revisiting past glories. We feel that our entry
into
the VdeV Fr Championship will compliment a season
of F3 perfectly."
The
team hope to use a solid season in the National
class as a launch pad into a successful season of
racing in the International class in 2009.
There
is still a seat available in the 2008 National class
of Formula 3 and Team Loctite would welcome any
enquiries. Also, any queries regarding the VdeV
Fr Championship would be gratefully received.
