Following a superb but demanding 2 day test at the Hungaroring in his Formula BMW car with the DAMS team, Jordan dashed back to the UK for his second outing in the British F3 Championship. Despite mainly running on old tyres Jordan came away from Budapest sixth on the time sheets, well ahead of his more experienced rivals, and eager to race at Silverstone in the F1 GP support race next weekend.

Team Loctite approached Thruxton knowing that the only testing they had on the circuit was 24 laps in the wet with experienced Asian F3 driver Matt Howson evaluating the car and testing aerodynamic configurations.
